Moon Kana, formerly known as Kana, is a Japanese musician notable for her
unique and everchanging style, both in music and in fashion. Born on January 26th, 1982,
Moon Kana developed a love for music from a young age, learning how to play the piano at
the age of six, and joining a band at the age of fourteen. She held her first live solo concert in
1998, while she was still in high school. She released her first single, Hebi Ichigo ("Snake
Strawberry") in 2000. As of January 2024, she has released five studio albums, as well as eight
singles and one EP/Mini-Album.

Outside of music, Moon Kana has also made numerous appearances as a model in fashion magazines,
such as KERA and the Gothic and Lolita Bibles, wearing both clothes from brands such as
Metamorphose Temps de Fille, as well as her own designs.
